Free Bus Passes from September

For new students starting September 2012: Students whose household income is less than £31,000 per year will receive FREE bus passes (on application and dependent upon a minimum of 90% attendance during the previous term).
Students aged 16, 17 and 18 who are in receipt of either

a) Income Support

b) Employment and Support Allowance and Disability Living Allowance

c) or are in care or a care leaver will receive £30 a week during term time only and subject to there being no unauthorised absences. They will also receive a FREE bus pass.

Continuing students returning in September 2012 whose household income is less than £31,000 per year will receive a FREE bus pass (Conditions apply)
Discretionary funds will be available to support those students in need. This will be based on individual applications.
